What skills and experience we're looking for
It is most unusual for a teacher vacancy to come up at this school. Staffing is very stable and staff enjoy the distinctive Christian family ethos that we nurture together.
Governors are looking to appoint a qualified teacher who can lead a Yr 2 class through the summer terms. The children have well established learning and behaviour routines. The class has a whole school support network that includes our dedicated reading specialist teacher, the nurture lead and the KS 1 teacher and inclusion lead.
We are looking for a teacher who will demonstrate a love of children. Someone who is committed to implementing our school teaching and learning provision to high standards. We use Little Wandle for phonics and reading daily and follow a daily maths program, including The White Rose. We can offer well planned curriculum and resources.
What the school offers its staff
All resources and training are available for the successful candidate. This is a great opportunity for a career minded teacher. Candidates are also welcome to apply for the advertised substantive post that will start September 2023.
You are warmly invited to come and look around the school, meet staff and pupils and form a picture of who we are. I look forward to meeting you.
Commitment to safeguarding
Our organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff, volunteers and trustees to share this commitment.
Our recruitment process follows the keeping children safe in education guidance.
Offers of employment may be subject to the following checks (where relevant):
