This is a successful school with an excellent reputation because happiness and learning go hand-in-hand. Ofsted has judged this school with the highest grade “Outstanding” with the most recent in March 2015.
You will find us tucked away at the top of a leafy lane in Westbury-on-Trym. This quiet location means that our stunning, tree-lined site – which has wonderful facilities – is often quite a surprise to first-time visitors. However; it’s usually the warm, happy atmosphere that leaves the lasting impression.
It’s interesting to hear what people take away from their visit: children busy at cookery club; a rehearsal in the modern dance studio; sports on the field; the buzz of building robots in the computer suite; or simply the fun that’s had at playtime, particularly on the adventure trail!
It is our aim that all pupils enjoy their individual learning journey. We have a culture of caring and nurturing, where our dedicated staff encourage and support each child to reach their full potential.
We foster attitudes of courtesy, thoughtfulness and a sense of responsibility for each individual’s own life and for the lives of people around them. We are a forward-thinking school that relishes the opportunities and embraces the challenges of the modern world. This is what makes us a flourishing school, of which we’re all very proud to be a part.
