The Governors are looking to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic and highly motivated Class Teacher, who will teach an EYFS Class, commencing 1st September 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter for the right candidate. There will be some teaching of EYFS/KS1. The post is based at Carlton & Faceby, however, staff will have opportunities to work in the partner school occasionally.

The ideal candidate would have:

Proven experience of working in a successful EYFS/KS1 environment
A strong working knowledge of EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum, continuous and enhanced provision, assessment and phonics
The ability to establish excellent relationships with children and parents, promoting aspirational achievement and progress for all groups of pupils including children with Special Educational Needs
Someone who puts children at the heart of their practice, believes that learning is exciting and aims to make every day memorable and enjoyable
Excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team. You will be creative and think outside of the box, have an excellent work ethic demonstrating diligence, resilience and able to manage change.
You will be willing to take on subject leadership at an appropriate level.
