What skills and experience we're looking for
East Sheen Primary School is looking to recruit an excellent class teacher to work as part of our inspiring, supportive team from September 2024. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a talented and experienced team in an outstanding three-form-entry primary school.
Our purpose is to nurture happy, confident children who think deeply about themselves and others in preparation for the challenges ahead.
We do this by inspiring and celebrating:
- Curiosity and love for learning
- Collaboration and kindness
- Creativity and enthusiasm
- Resilience and achievement
East Sheen Primary School is an exciting place to work, where families and staff work together to make learning fun and engaging, with high aspirations for all pupils. We are a Thinking School, explicitly teaching children the skills they need to be thinkers of the future, as well as being an Eco-School Green Flag award-winner and Ofsted Outstanding (April 2023).
We offer the opportunity to work in EYFS, KS1 or KS2, following a discussion with candidates, and we make a commitment to invest in every teacher's professional and personal development. We also value staff wellbeing, and offer a comprehensive wellbeing support programme.
This is a great post for an ECT looking for a strong foundation to their teaching career, and we welcome ECTs to join us for a paid period of induction in the summer term, ahead of their September start, as well as a strong two-year induction process. In addition to ECTs, we welcome experienced teachers to apply, who are keen to share good practice and be a part of a forward-thinking, driven staff team.
We look forward to receiving your application. If you would like to arrange a tour, or have any questions, please contact the headteacher, Harry Page using the details provided in the job description.
