The academy dates back to 1873 and is steeped in history and heritage alongside its excellent facilities including a large sports field and a heated swimming pool! The academy is a key part of the village and local community and benefits from a small school feel and engaged parents.

We are looking for a Class Teacher to join us starting in January 2024 on a fixed term basis, this role has the potential to become permanent. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and dynamic Primary Class Teacher who is passionate about the development of children and the school.

The successful candidate will have a positive attitude and an ability to motivate and engage children of all abilities. We believe that every child deserves an education that is tailored to their unique needs, interests and abilities, and we encourage our teachers to develop creative and innovative approaches to teaching.
