Class Teacher, Full or Part Time job summary

Due to increased pupil numbers and changes in circumstances of current staff, we are able to offer a fantastic opportunity to join the KS2 team at St Mary's Banbury, where you will make professional connections that will last, as well as work in a compassionate, exciting, creative and diverse school. Set in the heart of this historic, beautiful and diverse market town, we are the oldest school in town and serve a population from the local area and further afield.

As a member of an ODST school, you will have outstanding professional development opportunities, including opportunities to develop your subject and professional interests. Our teachers plan in teams, sharing the workload and having joint PPA whenever possible. Specialist sport and music provision is further enhanced with Commando Joe's character education and our playtimes are the best! St Mary's is the proud holder of an 2 OPAL Platinum Awards for play, making our playtimes irresistible and some of the best anywhere! Our well established breakfast and after school clubs, provide support for working families as well as many children who love to stay and enjoy even more time in school. The children know they are loved and cared for with compassion and our wonderful support team help them and all our teachers to meet the needs of all, so that everyone is included to take a full and active part in school life.

We work with our sister school, Wroxton Primary School, in an Executive partnership which gives exciting opportunities to work with colleagues in a much smaller, rural location five minutes away and to further enhance and grow our professional network and skills.
