Class Teacher job summary

Houldsworth Valley Primary Academy are looking for an outstanding KS2 teacher to join their team. The ideal candidate will have:​

- A proven track record of outstanding teaching
- An open mind and growth mind set
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Great interpersonal skills and good communication
- A good comprehension of the curriculum
- Passion and commitment to each and every child

Houldsworth Valley Primary Academy is part of Unity Schools Partnership. Within the trust, we have strong links in Bury St Edmunds, Haverhill, Newmarket and Great Cornard, near Sudbury. We currently follow a range of initiatives within the academy, including Success For All to promote skills in reading and writing across KS1 and 2 and developing mathematics through the use of Mathematics Mastery from Reception - Year 6.
