Class Teacher in special school job summary
An opportunity has arisen to join Kingsley Special Academy on a fixed-term contract. We are looking to appoint a teacher to join our outstanding team, starting early 2020. Whoever we appoint will be a voracious learner who sees fun and adventure as crucial in the learning experience. They will demonstrate polished and effective core teaching skills and will feel driven to acquire specialist expertise to enable them to shine in our galaxy of star performers.

Please note that this role is subject to enhanced DBS clearance, medical clearance, 2 references and right to work in the UK. The successful candidates will be expected to adhere to the Safeguarding Policies of the school and Keeping Children Safe in Education legislation. All contracts issued are Trust contracts covering all schools within Kingsley Learning Foundation.

Kingsley Special Academy is a Community Special School in Kettering providing education, therapy, support and facilities for children aged four years to eleven years who have physical, medical, sensory, learning and communication difficulties. Many of our children have presentations on the autistic spectrum. The school can provide for 156 pupils who have an Education, Health and Care Plan.
