Dear Prospective Candidate,
Thank you very much for your interest in the permanent teaching position at Jubilee Wood. We are seeking a passionate and imaginative teacher to join our successful team. We very much welcome candidates who want to make a difference within our fantastic school community.
Our school was judged as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in February 2022 with ‘Outstanding’ Personal Development. Following extensive curriculum redesign and recruitment of excellent staff, recent years’ attainment and progress at Jubilee Wood has been broadly in-line with national averages despite serving a more deprived community. We are very fortunate to have a fantastic staff team at present and will be looking to go one step further at our next inspection, given for our fabulous provision and the excellent behaviour and conduct of the children.
You can find out more about the school by visiting our website: www.jubileewood.milton-keynes.sch.uk. Visits to the school are strongly advised - we have much to offer! We have a great blend of older and younger staff and the ethos in our school is extremely warm, positive and genuine. A virtual school tour can be taken here: https://youtu.be/w2c3lJYcuHY. Please contact matt.obrien@jubileewood.milton-keynes.sch.uk to arrange a time to visit should you wish to.
Should you choose to apply, I look forward to receiving your completed application by noon 24th April 2026. Interviews will take place later in the week.
Our school is an equal opportunities employer and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
The successful applicant will be expected to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
