Class Teacher - Key Stage 2/3 job summary
Thriftwood wishes to appoint an energetic Teacher who is committed to the vision and ethos of our innovative, successful academy School site.
This is a very exciting opportunity to join the highly professional team at Thriftwood, an outstanding special School and College for pupils ages 5-19 with moderate learning difficulties and additional complex needs of Autism, ADHD, speech & language and social communication difficulties.

The Headteacher will be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of all children for whom they are responsible, or with whom they come into contact, in accordance with the Trust’s Safeguarding
Policy. The successful candidate will be required to complete a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) application, medical checks and references.

SEAX is a small, but growing, special school multi-academy trust based in Essex. We currently comprise four schools; Grove House in Brentwood, Thriftwood in Chelmsford and Kingswode Hoe & Langham Oaks in Colchester. We are due to open a fifth academy, the Hawthorns, in Chelmsford in the near future. Our provisions serve pupils with moderate learning, speech & language and SEMH difficulties.
