Class Teacher - Key Stage 2 job summary
We are looking to appoint a dynamic and inspiring teacher to join our enthusiastic Key Stage 2 team, initially on a 12 month fixed-term contract with effect from September 2021. You will have excellent teaching skills and a passion for making learning exciting by taking risks and being creative in your teaching. You should be a highly motivated person, committed to continual pupil development and fully embracing of the strong Christian ethos that runs throughout all aspects of the school community. We welcome applications from ECTs as well as more experienced teachers.
We want someone who has ideas, enthusiasm, energy and a desire to make a difference to our children's education and experiences at school. You will have the ability to challenge, encourage and support the children and your colleagues, along with the ambition and drive to raise standards and make a valuable contribution to the continued improvement of the school.

Beckley Church of England Primary School is a successful and very popular rural school near Rye and is part of the Genesis Federation, made up of Beckley and Peasmarsh Schools. We have just under 100 pupils in 4 mixed-age classes with excellent facilities, including our beautiful school orchard. Pupils, staff and parents are proud of the school and value the caring ethos. Our children are polite, caring and respectful and get on very well with each other. They actively support each other’s learning. Staff are relentless and passionate in their desire to provide the best possible learning experiences and outcomes for their pupils. Parents and carers are very supportive and extremely positive about the school.
