This is an exciting opportunity for a creative class teacher to join our fabulous team at KVPS.
We are looking for someone who has a real

What the school offers its staff
Kingsthorpe Village Primary is a one form entry primary school with 207 pupils currently on roll. The school has the advantage of being well resourced and has its very own Wellbeing Hub. Staff and pupil wellbeing remain a key driver at the school and both pupils and staff are highly conscientious and hardworking. KVPS is a great place to work and teacher vacancies at our school do not come around often. Parents and governors are highly supportive of the school and there exists a strong community spirit.
A full-time class teacher role has become available for September 2025 and we are seeking a teacher who understands what learning is and can make it meaningful for all our children on a daily basis.
We can offer excellently behaved pupils who are resilient and enjoy their learning. Our children and teachers take pride in their school with our three key drivers being The Arts, Wellbeing and Initiative. We have a great range of staff expertise and experience across the school and for the last decade have performed at the recognised “GOOD” level with OFSTED as a grant-maintained school. Our curriculum is highly developed, inspiring and fun.

KVPS is an average sized primary school with enthusiastic children who care for each other and their school.
We are passionate about providing a curriculum which is fit for purpose and relevant to our community that inspires our children. We have a strong TEAM ethos that is embedded in the school where staff are respected as professionals and work closely together. We received a strong good during our last OFSTED inspection in May 2016 and am proud of all our achievements since then.
