The successful candidate will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Successful and varied teaching in appropriate KS phase(s)
  • Experience of effective team work
  • To have a high level of written and oral communication skills
  • The ability to lead and work as part of effective teams
  • The ability to foster positive working relationships at all levels
  • To have good reasoning powers and good judgement in a variety of situations
  • The ability to manage the implementation of change sensitively
  • To be able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines, as well as set timelines
  • The ability to use ICT effectively
  • The ability to plan, monitor, evaluate, review and lead by example
  • The ability to analyse data, present outcomes
  • The ability to motivate and maintain appropriate relationships with children
  • The ability to demonstrate emotional resilience to challenging behaviour and attitudes to the use of authority and maintenance of discipline

  • The interview process will involve a single interview, a lesson observation and additional task

Bordesley Green Primary School is a larger than average primary school that has a history dating back to 1902 and located between Marchmont Road and Drummond Road.

We are a three form entry maintained community school offering places for children between the ages 5 to 11 with capacity for 90 pupils in each year.

We also have a Nursery within our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) offering places for 52 part-time pupils aged 3 to 4 split into two sessions – 26 places in the morning and a further 26 in the afternoon.

Pupils joining Bordesley Green Primary School are offered a wide variety of creative and fun opportunities and experiences to meet their needs, with personal, social and emotional development being key. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum for our pupils throughout to ensure that pupils are well equipped and prepared for the future.
