At this key time in the Academy’s rapid development, we are seeking to appoint two ambitious, determined and committed class teachers to help our staff team to secure further positive outcomes for our children, families, and the wider community. Through good practice, enthusiasm for learning and the ability to inspire and motivate others, you will harness the key strengths and energy of this Christian Academy. It is likely that one position will be in Key Stage One and the other in Key Stage Two. Both positions are temporary until August 2026 and are suitable for Early Career Teachers or those with more experience.
We are looking for teachers who:
- Have a thorough knowledge of teaching and assessment practices in either KS1 or KS2
- Have high expectations of pupil behaviour, themselves and the children in their care
- Have the ability to challenge learners at all levels
- Have experience of working with pupils with SEND
- Have a commitment to making a difference and to raising aspirations
- Have a good understanding of how data can be used to improve progress and standards
- Are reflective practitioners, who can take on board feedback, adapt to changes and share practice
- Can demonstrate effective organisational skills
- Can communicate at all levels of the school community
- Work collaboratively to plan and deliver a broad and engaging curriculum
- Are willing to contribute fully to school life, demonstrating enthusiasm and dedication to whole-school development
