Class Teacher- KS2 (Year 5/6) job summary
Provide verbal and written feedback on lesson content, pupil responses to learning activities and pupil behaviour, to teachers and pupils.
Motivate and progress pupils’ learning by using clearly structured, interesting teaching and learning activities.
Support the teaching of literacy and numeracy and assist pupils to access the full curriculum. Create lesson plans, IEP targets and learning objectives.
Be aware of and support differences and ensure all pupils have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.

Our school is set on the edge of the village and adjoins the village playing field and Village Hall.
We cater for children from the ages of 4 to 11 and, at present, have around 70 children on roll.
Hogsthorpe Primary Academy is proud to have a new building that offers so much to the children and their learning experiences. Our four classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards, laptops and iPads, so all of our children can get to grips with the use of current technology in the modern world.
There is also a new dining area and hall that offers an excellent space for assemblies, sports and much more.
We want to offer our children an excellent education and we can achieve this with our latest renovation.
