Class Teacher job summary

We are hoping to recruit an enthusiastic, committed teacher, either an ECT or a teacher early in their career. We are looking for a candidate who has initiative, motivation and the commitment to ensure our children make good progress in all areas of their education. This vacancy will be suited to a candidate who is happy to work across the primary age range.
We can offer you a dedicated team of staff to work with collaboratively, planning across the year group during PPA time that is arranged together, in order to share expertise, knowledge and ideas. Continuous professional development is a core belief for all staff in the school, as through your own progression and development; our children thrive and gain the best possible education.
Our Teaching Assistants are highly skilled and support both class teachers, individual pupils and groups of pupils, focusing on needs identified. We are well resourced and are proud of the high expectations that all staff have of our children.

Longlands Primary School is a successful 1 ½ form entry maintained primary school in the London Borough of Bexley. The classes are organised in mixed age classes from Year 1 onwards.
