Manor Green School is a large and highly successful special school educating some 260 students aged 2-19, who, due to their complex needs, require significant specialist support to succeed academically and achieve their full potential.
Our students’ needs range from requiring additional pastoral and emotional support, through those with moderate and severe learning difficulties to some having profound, multiple learning and complex health problems.

Class Teacher
Main Scale + SEN (London fringe)
1 permanent &
1 fixed term maternity cover to approx. February 2020
Both to commence as soon as possible
You will teach a group of students and lead a team of support staff in the class, including performance management of the Higher Level Teaching Assistant. You must have UK QTS and SEN teaching experience.
You will be required to offer outstanding teaching to a small class of students (we group our students in Clusters. A Cluster is a grouping of classes working on the same curriculum equivalent to a key stage). This includes planning, preparation, delivery, assessment, evaluation and reporting responsibilities. You will work collaboratively with all other school staff in order to create and maintain outstanding opportunities for our students’ academic progress, care and therapeutic learning support and promotion of enrichment and life skills development. You will also work closely with the students’ families and other professionals.
We are seeking permanent and fixed term Teachers who are immediately available. The fixed term post may be extended by mutual agreement based on business need.
