Class Teacher - Maternity Cover 0.6FTE job summary
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, flexible, forward thinking practitioner to take on responsibility for PPA cover across our vibrant and innovative primary school. We are proud of our creative, broad curriculum and this exciting position will provide an opportunity for an excellent teacher to put their skills into practice and contribute to the continued development of this in our friendly village school. The role will involve teaching in each class with flexibility around curriculum areas taught and working pattern, depending upon the skills and availability of the successful applicant.
Beaford Primary Community and Nursery School is an outstanding, rural, community school, where emphasis is placed on supporting the whole child through every aspect of development. We aim to promote and develop lifelong learning for all through a challenging, personalised curriculum that is both creative and stimulating. We are looking for someone with the commitment and energy to complement our existing team.
An understanding of principles of effective practice, a reflective but dynamic approach, good communication skills and a passion for making a difference for all children are essential requirements for this post.
