Class Teacher - Maternity Cover job summary

We are a small school with currently 66 children on roll, including nursery, where everyone is known, made to feel valued and respected as an individual. We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Early Years Foundation Stage Class Teacher, covering a period of maternity leave in our Nursery and Reception Class. This temporary role for 2 terms will take effect from January 2025 until end of July 2025.

We are seeking a resilient and motivated individual who possesses a profound appreciation of childhood and a comprehensive understanding of the EYFS curriculum. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong commitment to nurturing children as they develop into independent, highly motivated learners. Previous experience teaching within the Foundation Stage is highly desirable, along with a passionate dedication to Early Years education.
