Class Teacher - Maternity cover job summary

The successful candidate will teach a mixed class of year 2's and 3's and carry out the professional duties of a teacher as circumstances may require and in accordance with the school's policies and procedures under the direction of the Headteacher and DSAMAT. The job involves:
Planning, teaching and class management
Monitoring, assessment, recording, reporting
Knowledge and understanding
Curriculum development
Ensuring pupil behaviour, enjoyment, participation and safety
