Class Teacher - Maternity cover job summary

We are seeking to appoint a talented and inspiring teacher to join our team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave from September 2020. We are open minded about which year group the successful candidate might work in, this could either be KS1 or KS2.

The successful candidate will be passionate about children's learning. We want to recruit a team player who will go the extra mile for their pupils and our school.
We seek candidates who can fire the imagination of young learners and develop their skills and knowledge.
Our teachers have high levels of empathy and understanding with pupils, parents and colleagues.
Strong academic qualifications in the core subjects are essential because our teachers help children to develop a wide vocabulary through high quality literacy teaching.
We will only consider applications from teachers and trainees who can evidence good to outstanding practice.
Recent and successful teaching experience across the primary age range working with pupils from a range of socio-economic backgrounds and with a variety of learning needs.

Above all, we seek enthusiastic, passionate professionals who are keen to learn, love team working and are dedicated to giving children great teaching and a fulfilling future.
