Meadow Primary school is a three form entry primary school. We joined the Bourne Education Trust as an academy converter on 1st July 2018. There are three classes of 30 children in each year group, making twenty one classes in all. The school started in September 2008 as the result of the amalgamation of Sparrow Farm Community Junior School and Stoneleigh First School – two very successful schools. There is a pre school group on site and a breakfast and after school care club.
The school is housed in one, two storey building with substantial playgrounds and playing field facilities. The classrooms all have interactive whiteboards.
The school works in four phase groups, Early Years (year R ), KS1 (years 1 and 2), Lower KS2 (years 3 and 4) and upper KS2 (years 5 and 6).
Meadow Primary school offers a high quality educational environment in which children are encouraged and motivated to learn. At Meadow Primary school we are committed to providing a welcoming atmosphere where staff and children work together to create a happy, safe caring and stimulating learning environment in partnership with parents, governors and the local community. We encourage all children to reach their full potential and for all members of the school community to take responsibility for themselves, others and their environment. We have a dedicated team who are passionate about the welfare and progress of all children.
