Class Teacher Maternity Cover job summary
Wilton CE Primary school is a happy school with 166 children on role. We are looking to recruit a dedicated, outstanding practitioner to teach at our wonderful school for 3 days a week, this will be in a year group yet to be decided and applications are welcome from teachers with experience in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. The opportunity has arisen as a member of staff is going on maternity leave, the length of maternity cover is likely to be for one academic year. Our children are highly motivated and excited by learning as well as being polite and well-behaved.
We need someone who will be:
• a passionate, dynamic and reflective practitioner
• committed to the highest expectations of children’s achievement and progress
• innovative and imaginative in creating memorable learning experiences
• dedicated and nurturing, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• willing to work in a team and contribute to the wider life of the school
• experience of working across the primary age range

Wilton CE Primary School is located in the town of Wilton on the outskirts of Salisbury. It is a single form entry primary school with 7 single year group classes and a resource base for children with speech language and communication difficulties. There are currently 167 children on role.
