What skills and experience we're looking for
- Have a creative approach to teaching and learning, to inspire, challenge and motivate all pupils
- Is keen to use our wonderful outdoor space as part of the wider curriculum here at Hillfort
- Have high expectations in terms of children’s behaviour
- Maintain, form and develop strong professional relationships with our learning community
- Have a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Values the importance of active lifestyles for all
- Are aspirational for both themselves and their pupils
- Are keen to improve their own practice on an ongoing basis Visits to the school are welcome.
What the school offers its staff
Our School is located in the “Clays Area” near to St. Austell on the South Coast of Cornwall. The school caters for children between the ages of 4 – 11. We put the children at the centre of what we do at Nanpean by aiming to instil in our children a love of learning and develop a ‘can do’ approach that enables them to grow ambition. Our children develop an understanding of themselves as individuals, with their own talents and characters, as well as value the people and world around them. We are committed to preparing our children for the next stage on their journey so that they are able to grasp all opportunities in their future.
