What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and outstanding teacher to join our staff team. You must have recent experience of teaching in the Early Years.

You will be the teacher in charge of our Nursery and work closely with our Reception class teacher and Early Years leader as well as our Early Years support staff.

Our nursery is a 26 place setting for 3 and 4 year olds which caters for both funded and private sessions.

The nursery class room is next to the Reception class and is attached to the main school building with a bright and vibrant indoor and outdoor learning space.

What the school offers its staff

Ashover Primary School is a one form entry school with approximately 30 pupils in each class from Nursery to Y6.

The school is in a beautiful rural setting with excellent facilities for pupils both inside and out.

You will work alongside a strong and dedicated staff team whose aim is for our pupils to be safe, happy and achieve their full potential.

Flexible working opportunities

The role is for four days per week. You will also have half a day per week for PPA which can be taken at home.

We support many families through our school Early Help and our Designated Safeguarding Leads and school staff and governors have received all relevant safeguarding training. We ensure that we have robust polices and procedures in place to keep our pupils safe.
