0.6 (3 days) Teacher (1 year contract) to job share either a KS1 or KS2 Class
St. Ebbe’s School are looking for a teacher until August 2025 in the first instance, to join an experienced team united in the belief that the purpose of education is to nurture, ‘Wise, compassionate citizens with the power to make a difference.’
Strong relationships and connections underpin our approach to education. We collaborate as a team every day to build trust and belonging for each adult and child at our school. In short, this is a joyful place to work with creative, kind and supportive colleagues, committed to the wellbeing of our whole community.
Central to our ethos at St. Ebbe’s is the notion that each unique child who steps into our school brings with them an undiluted curiosity, is full of questions about the world and has a thirst for learning more. Our pledge is that we will nurture and grow this during their time at St. Ebbe’s through building strong relationships, knowing each child as an individual and delivering an ‘Enquiry-Based Curriculum of Hope’ which is rich in humanity, compassion and knowledge. Children and staff at St. Ebbe’s learn about things which matter and, as a result, are deeply engaged in learning.
We are very proud that we are a ‘Learning Community.’ We are continually learning how to do things better, finding inspiration all around us and listening to feedback from each other and our community. Our mantra is, ‘No judgement, only learning,’ which causes us to accept mistakes as part of the learning process and simply to reflect on how we can improve.
