We are quite unique here at Oxley Park and very lucky indeed—we have two sites! Our original site known as the ‘Oxley Park Campus’ is situated in the estate of Oxley Park itself. This site opened in 2005 and has a fantastic range of learning spaces, an exciting playground space, ‘wacky woods’ for outdoor learning adventure and our amazing red and green pitch. The Red Pitch provides a brilliant space for sports of all types as well as providing a large space for playtimes. Our Green 4G Pitch is floodlit so a wonderful space for our children to play sport but also a great resource for our community to hire out.
Our second site is our new Shenley Wood Campus. Shenley Wood opened in September 2017 so it is very new and modern. As you can imagine there are a wide range of stunning learning spaces which include: an amazing library, atrium style shared spaces with classrooms based in blocks of four. These spaces are identified as Quads and similar to the streets at Oxley provide a real identity and inspirational learning spaces for the children. Our Shenley Wood campus is home to 'The Nursery Village' our Nursery provision which has a purpose built learning space and outdoor area. The nursery is designed as a village setting creating 'a little world for little people'. Our outdoor learning space at Shenley is rather different as we benefit from a wonderful field alongside the playground.
Both sites cater for children in Foundation Stage to Year 6, and Shenley Wood campus is home to our nursery children too.
Our learning environment is absolutely amazing and extremely unique. You really do need to see it for yourself! We want our schools to be totally child orientated and not seen as institutions. We hope you like what you see!
