What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an experienced primary school teacher to cover a maternity leave position for the Spring and Summer terms in 2026. The role will provide PPA cover to all year groups from Reception to Year 6.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a caring and dedicated approach, who can create the best possible learning opportunities for children and has the ability to inspire and motivate children to achieve their full potential and raise achievement.
  • Have experience of teaching across all key stages.
  • Be committed to the continual improvement of the high expectations of our school.
  • Be a strong team player who is willing to engage in all aspects of school life to achieve the best for the children within the school.
  • Have excellent communication skills and be able to work positively with children, parents and staff.
  • Have creativity, energy and enthusiasm.
