Class Teacher job summary

Our Class Teachers contribute to the School Plan, support the ethos, aims and vision of Parklea Primary School in accordance with the five outcomes in Every Child Matters.

You will undertake all duties required of a qualified teacher identified in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document and will undertake class teaching in a designated year group.

You will be expected to coordinate/act as a subject specialist in a curriculum area/s including monitoring and assessment, policy assessment and teaching strategies. You will be required to consult with colleagues and feed back to the leadership team. (Except when NQT)

Parklea Primary School is a newly amalgamated Primary School (September 2019) in the North of Luton. We are a rapidly growing, vastly improving split site Primary School on the border with Central Bedfordshire.

Our staff are an extremely hard working team who support each other to ensure our pupils have the best learning experience possible. We are proud of the fact that all visitors comment on the calm, relaxed atmosphere as well as the good behaviour of our pupils.
