Class Teacher (Permanent) job summary
Towcester Primary School is a friendly, nurturing church school based in the heart of the market town of Towcester. We provide fantastic provision for children from the local community. We are looking to appoint someone who:
- Is enthusiastic, approachable and friendly
- Ensures all children feel safe, happy and able to learn
- Has an understanding of the curriculum and pastoral needs of primary aged children
- Is able to deliver high quality first teaching
- Is confident in using a range of behaviour management strategies
- Has the ability to work effectively, flexibly and independently and above all is a committed team member
- Is supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school

As a church school, we are a proud member of the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust, alongside 32 other schools in the Rutland, Peterborough and Northamptonshire area. PDET is responsible for employing all staff and managing the finances and other central services for the Academies in the Trust. These services include HR support; facilities and premises; procurement and school effectiveness.
