What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner with a creative approach to teaching to commence a permanent position from September 2024.
This role is for a class teacher who will work in partnership with their Phase Team, our Head and Deputy. If you enjoy challenge, innovation and change, have confidence in your own ability and a good sense of humour, then Epsom Downs is the school for you.
All our teachers have subject responsibility unless an ECT. Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with an interest in PE. Are you passionate about inspiring young minds and fostering a love for physical activity? Epsom Downs Community School is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to lead PE and join our sports team which consists of a PE Teaching Assistant (who supports with the admin and the attending of sporting events and competitions) and a sports coach. If you are an ECT with a real interest in physical education we would offer the necessary support to develop the successful candidate into this role in their second year. What we are looking for is a committed team player with vision and solid understanding of the strategies required to motivate and inspire our pupils.
