Since expanding from one to two-form entry in September 2023, we’ve been transforming our learning environments, including exciting plans for a newoutdoor learning space. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a forward-thinking and enthusiastic teacher to help shape our vision and contribute to the creation of these innovative spaces.
You would be joining the academy at an extremely exciting time as their recent Ofsted visit suggested that there is enough evidence of improved performance to suggest that the Academy would be judged OUTSTANDINGin all areas should a section 5 inspection be conducted. The Hundred of Hoo Academy is an all-through school with a Primary phase on its exciting journey growing to two-form entry. With a brand-new eight-classroom extension and existing building which is only 8 years old, 1:1 devices for children from years one to six, exceptional curriculum delivered through the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the opportunity to grow in your career by being part of Leigh Academies Trust, our academy is the perfect place to ensure that children are ‘More than just educated’ and truly make a difference.
Being part of Leigh Academies Trust
As of 1st September 2024, our Trust comprises 33 geographically organised academies (17 secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating more than 24,000 students and employing 4,000 talented staff. Currently, 16 of our academies are considered to be “Outstanding” which is 53% of those which have been inspected whilst part of the Trust. The Trust is establishing three ‘clusters’ of academies: LAT Central; LAT West; LAT North.
