Class Teacher (QTS) job summary
Ivy House School is part of the Shaw Education Trust and we share the values of being pupil and person centred, acting with integrity, being innovative, being the best in class and being accountable.
We are a special school that provides education for 86 children and young people aged between 2-19. Our pupils have severe, complex and profound & multiple learning disabilities. We offer a happy, supportive and purposeful environment where pupils are nurtured, praised and acknowledged for who they are, the skills they acquire and the tasks they accomplish.
From January 2020 (or as close to this date as possible), we are looking to appoint an inspirational teacher who embraces creativity, innovation and is always looking for the very best practice in teaching. They will share the school's vision and ethos and ensure that all children receive a high-quality education. It is important that the successful candidate has a passion for working with children with special educational needs and NQTs and recently qualified teachers are welcome to apply.
