Class Teacher job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen at our outstanding Infant School. We are looking to appoint an excellent teacher to join our team, working 1 full day and 1 morning each week in Class 2 until the end of the summer term 2021. This post is part time and temporary.

We are very proud of the excellent learning and teaching at Ravensmere and our small school is thriving. Our children benefit from an inspiring curriculum and learning environments which are of a very high quality. We have fantastic children who are engaged, motivated and supported to achieve. We pride ourselves on our nurturing environment and the quality of our team work which is a significant strength. The successful candidate will be well supported by our experienced staff team.

Ravensmere Infant School is a small, successful school in Beccles which is thriving. Ravensmere is federated with The Albert Pye Primary School, also in Beccles. Ravensmere is unique within our locality as it is the only remaining Infant School. We admit children from four years of age into the reception year and provide education up to the end of year 2. Our aim is for our children to leave Ravensmere with high standards of literacy and numeracy, but of equal importance is that we want our children to be happy, confident, independent learners who are well motivated and enjoy learning and coming to school.
