Class Teacher job summary

Plan and prepare work.
Teach, according to their educational needs, pupils for whom you are responsible.
Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of pupils.
Participate in all necessary arrangements and procedures relating to national and local assessments.
Ensure that all pupils for who you are responsible progress and are encouraged.
Maintain good order and discipline among pupils with particular reference to health and safety.
Provide pastoral care, guidance and advice to pupils as appropriate.
Communicate and consult with parents and other relevant bodies.
All other professional duties as directed by the SLT
