Class Teacher job summary
The First Federation Trust, a Multi Academy Trust of 14 schools, is seeking to recruit an inspirational teacher to join our friendly and dedicated team, based at Salcombe C of E Primary School.
The school is situated in a beautiful location overlooking the coastal town of Salcombe and the tranquil Kingsbridge Estuary, in the South Hams district of Devon. The town lies within an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Salcombe is a thriving small town school with a strong sense of community, where both teachers and learners flourish.
You would be working along side a wonderful team of supportive staff, with children who are eager to learn; in a school which has an excellent partnership with parents/carers and the local community.
Leaders within the school understand that staff wellbeing is paramount which has created a fun and enjoyable working environment.
We are seeking a permanent class teacher to teach in a mixed Year 2, 3 & 4 class. This position will start after February half term.

You should have:
- Good curriculum knowledge and preferably with experience of teaching Key Stage 1 and 2
- Passion about securing positive outcomes for every individual and committed to educating and nurturing the whole child
- Dedication towards a child-centred approach, with creative ideas for learning opportunities
- Excellent classroom practitioner skills with high expectations
- The ability to engage and inspire all pupils to develop a love of learning
- The ability to be a proactive, creative and inspirational team player
- The ability to build outstanding relationships with parents and the community
