Class Teacher job summary
Saxmundham Primary is a thriving 315 place primary school with a Nursery for children from three years old. The school has a strong community ethos and we are committed to meeting the needs of our children and families through a broad curriculum and pastoral offer. Our enthusiastic pupils behave well and have a real enthusiasm for learning and all aspects of school life. Supported by a dedicated teaching team, very supportive parents, local advisors and trustees, we offer a well-equipped working environment and opportunities for fully supported career professional development within the school and our Trust.
From April 2025 we are looking to recruit a strong EYFS or KS1 teacher to join our team permanently. Initially this will be in a year 1 class but there may be an opportunity to move to EYFS for the 25/26 academic year. We are looking for someone who promotes high expectations across the curriculum and is able to support children in having high expectations of themselves. Our ideal candidate will have a love of learning which will be evident through high quality teaching and learning in the class.
