Class Teacher SEN job summary

We are very excited to be recruiting to the role of Teacher to join our school from January 2022, or for as soon as possible. We are looking for an individual who has drive and enthusiasm and who can make an immediate contribution to the way our pupils learn and engage. They should be dynamic in their approach to making learning fun and accessible for all pupils.
The successful candidate will work with an excellent staff team who are both forward thinking and innovative, and who have high expectations of themselves and the pupils they support. A well-developed induction programme will provide in depth support and guidance.

Springwell is a designated day special school for pupils with complex learning difficulties aged from 4 – 11 years. Many pupils have associated disabilities including speech and language disorders, autism and challenging behaviour.
We are located on the edge of the city in Thornhill, Southampton with an additional 4 off site provisions located at mainstream schools across the city.
