  • A teacher with strong, inclusive practice and strong interpersonal skills,who is committed to developing potential and raising achievement for all our pupils.

  • A dedication and passion to build on our strong SEND provision in partnership with our SEND team under the leadership of our Assistant Headteacher (Inclusion).

  • Has supported a SENCo, and aspires to take on this role (with NASENCO qualification or willingness and ability to obtain the SENCo NPQ).

  • Sound knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice.

  • A commitment to striving to meet the individual needs and improving learning for all our pupils.

  • The potential to develop others effectively and work as part of a team.

  • A ‘can do’ positive attitude.

  • A warm and caring personality.

  • High quality organisational skills.

  • Evidence of improving staff provision.

  • Evidence of improving children's outcomes.

You will be welcomed into an exceptional team of professionals to:

  • Support and liaise with staff, parents and external agencies.

  • Ensure the needs of identified pupils are met by coordinating support and provision for pupils with EHCPs.

  • Support the Learning Support Assistant team with ensuring high-quality in-class support.

  • Work with the Assistant Headteacher (Inclusion) and other staff to ensure awareness of the implications of Inclusion, SEND and EAL.
