As a school, we want to work with someone who is confident in the classroom, both as a teacher and as SENCo so that pupils receive clear, meaningful support across all lessons. As the school’s SENCo, they will demonstrate a working knowledge of SEND and inclusion, with a commitment to undertaking the NPQ qualification for SENCos where applicable.

Key leadership responsibilities:
- Leading SEND and inclusion through effective modelling and monitoring of classroom practice, working with staff, families and external agencies to ensure children are well supported
- Act as behaviour lead, monitoring and supporting pupils and colleagues
- Driving high standards of teaching and learning in collaboration with the Headteacher and the Trust
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues, pupils and families to ensure children access the right provision and support
- Acting as a lead practitioner through the provision of consistently strong classroom practice.
