What skills and experience we're looking for

This role is based at Lime Academy Orton, which is a special school split over two sites in Orton Goldhay and Orton Malborne, Peterborough for children and young pupils with complex and severe needs including learning difficulties, physical impairment, sensory impairment and ASD aged from 2-19.

As a teacher this is a unique and exciting opportunity to join our growing Trust and to help create an exceptional learning experience for pupils within our school. You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons in all areas of the curriculum and providing personalised activities to meet the needs of the pupils within your class.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive and safe learning environment to nurture pupils’ development. Our aim is to provide our pupils with the best possible opportunities to succeed with future goals and aspirations in all areas of their life including social, emotional, physical and communication. We strive to ensure our pupils reach their full potential to allow them to actively participate in the wider community and to prepare them for adult life.
