DBS Check: Enhanced Closing Date: 20/01/2022 at 09:00 Reference: LIME-P/21/174486 Class Teacher with SENDCo responsibility The Lime Trust is looking for a Class Teacher with SENDCo responsibility to join their effective school team. The Lime Trust consists of 8 schools, 4 Special and 4 Primary in Cambridgeshire and North and East London. This post is for a Class Teacher with SENDCo responsibility to work in Lime Academy Parnwell, a two-form entry primary school located in Peterborough within a diverse community. We are a growing school with a recent school extension that offers excellent facilities and a team of innovative, experienced and dedicated staff. Lime Academy Parnwell offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled SENDCo to continue to help drive education standards in an upward trajectory. The teaching commitment of the post will be 0.6 of a class shared with the Assistant Headteacher. The post has a dedicated 0.4 release commitment to undertake the SENDCo role. This role will form part of the Senior Leadership Group structure in school, alongside subject leaders and Head of Years. Salary will be paid in line with teachers pay scales plus TLR2 of £7,017 for the SENDCo role. We are looking for an experienced teacher who: Holds the National SENDCO award qualification Demonstrates excellent leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills Demonstrates excellent classroom practice, effectively meeting individual needs The desire and experience to take a lead role within our school A clear understanding of SEND and experience of working with children with a range of needs A commitment to ensuring all pupils achieve their full potential High expectations of themself and others Experience of leading change and improvement across the school Our aim is to provide our pupils with the best possible opportunities to succeed with future goals and aspirations in all areas of their life including social, emotional, physical and communication.
