We are part of The Kemnal Academies Trust (TKAT), the largest multi-academy trust in the south and east of England who pride themselves on being a community of learners who share the mindset of success and are driven by the prospect of opportunity for all. Seymour has a mixture of 2 and 3 classes per year group. We achieved an Ofsted rating of “GOOD” in December 2018. Seymour ensures all children have the opportunities and resources to achieve. We celebrate the fact that we have 29 languages spoken at our school. The school is led by 2 co-headteachers; Carol Collins and Emma Eardley. Seymour has a culture of continuous improvement for all, and their expertise in teaching and learning and standards in core subjects is recognised across TKAT schools. Therefore, the school is frequented by visitors who want to see dynamic and effective teaching and learning in action. We use Talk for Writing, Read Write Inc and the Mathematics Mastery Programme.
