KS2 Class Teacher job summary

Skyswood Primary & Nursery School are looking to appoint a creative and highly motivated teacher for a full time position in Key Stage 2 as from September 2024. This is a wonderful opportunity to join our friendly and dedicated team. Our school promote a growth mindset approach and are proud of the outstanding behaviours for learning and the positive community that exists within our school. Our one-form entry school has a genuine 'family-feel' and our parent partnerships, quality of teaching and learning, support staff and pupil voice are all key strengths within the school. You will be passionate about teaching KS2 pupils, committed to ensuring each pupil achieves their potential, demonstrating high expectations of yourself, your pupils and your colleagues. The successful candidate will have an outstanding knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum and a commitment to their own professional development.

Applications are welcome from teachers at an early stage in their career, including Early Career Teachers. However, we have the flexibility to appoint a more experienced teacher if a suitable applicant should apply, so the post may also appeal to candidates who are looking to further develop in their careers and take on additional responsibilities.
