Class Teacher job summary

At Somerlea Park, we are looking to recruit a passionate, dedicated and informed class teacher to join our fantastic teaching team.
Teacher Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our pupils.
Implement appropriate teaching strategies to engage and inspire pupils.
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices.
Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behaviour and positive relationships.
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on pupil's progress and address any concerns.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development network meetings, and other school activities as required.
This role is Fixed Term initially until 31.8.2025
