Class Teacher job summary
Southfield School is looking for a creative and energetic class teacher. We need a highly skilled and adaptable teacher who realises that 'one size does not fit all'. The successful candidate will be a team player who has high expectations. Our fantastic pupils deserve teachers who will make their learning fun, whilst enabling them to reach their goals.
We can offer you opportunities to develop your skills, in the diverse and fast changing field of Special Education. This is an ideal opportunity for NQT's or mainstream teachers to gain some experienced in specialist provision. We value the CPD of our team and support and specific training to meet the needs of our pupils (ASD/MLD/SLCN/ADHD) will be offered. You will have opportunities to become involved in imaginative new initiatives through the school development plan.
Candidates from both special and mainstream education and NQT's are welcome to apply. What matters to us is that you have a flexible approach, a positive commitment to removing barriers to learning and the passion to aim high for all pupils.
We are a friendly, supportive and skilled staff team and work closely with parents and professionals from a number of other fields.
