We are seeking an exceptional and passionate teacher who can develop a sense of curiosity, adventure and empathy in our pupils through our engaging school curriculum. The successful candidate will be a teacher who can inspire our pupils and has the energy and creativity to “build on strong foundations” and support the Christian ethos of the school.

We are looking for a teacher who:
• Has high expectations for all children and a strong belief that all children can flourish
• Provides creative, enriching, learning opportunities which develop curiosity, adventure and empathy
• Demonstrates experience and knowledge of teaching and learning outside of the classroom
• Demonstrates an ability to nurture and support all pupils, including those with complex learning, emotional or other needs
• Is committed to ensuring all pupils make excellent progress
• Has excellent interpersonal skills and is able to communicate well with colleagues, parents and pupils
• Has good organisational skills and knows how to maintain a healthy work-life balance
• Demonstrates a positive attitude towards continuing school improvement
• Ensures safeguarding is a priority at St James and will promote staff and pupil well-being
• Will become fully engaged with the whole school community and will embrace opportunities to grow professionally
• Has a commitment to the Christian ethos of the school
