St Thomas’ value and uphold our status as a Church of England Aided school and we serve the community in which we are placed, We believe there is great strength in working in partnership with others which is why we joined the Crompton House Multi Academy Trust earlier this year.
Our community is extremely diverse with over 25 languages spoke. Approximately 90% S. Asian and a growing number of Eastern European and African families, there is a high proportion of disadvantaged and deprived households.
We are a two form entry Church of England Aided School and have provision for 24 children in our 2-year-old provision plus 78, 15-hour places in our Nursery for 3 and 4 year olds.
We have a waiting list for most year groups and at present we have 500 children on role.
At present we employ 19 full time teachers and 4 part-time teachers. 32 support members of staff, and 3 apprentices, 2 sports coaches and an ICT technician
The school has a bespoke curriculum which is constantly under review and monitored rigorously by curriculum leads and senior leaders
