Class Teacher job summary

The successful candidate will take responsibility for planning and implementing appropriate work programmes for all students in the designated group, within the framework of national and school policies. You will take responsibility for maintaining assessment records and report on students’ progress and attainment in accordance with school policy. You will lead and manage additional adults within the classroom and actively participate in the curriculum development of the school leading an area as appropriate.

Part of the Vale Federation of Schools, Stocklake Park Secondary School is a special school which caters for students who have moderate to severe learning difficulties www.thevalefederation.com. There are currently 54 students at the main site. The school follows a primary model and is designed to meet individual educational needs and develop social and personal skills.
