Class Teacher job summary

Due to the expansion of our school, we require a main scale Class Teacher to start in September 2024. We are looking for an inspirational teacher who will be committed, enthusiastic and able to demonstrate deep knowledge and understanding of how children learn. The successful candidate will have the character and commitment to make a difference and will be a great communicator.

We are looking for a teacher who:

Understands the importance of establishing positive relationships with children within a Church School

Is committed and passionate about supporting us on our continued journey of improvement

Has a confident and robust knowledge of the National Curriculum

Has high expectations of behaviour, personal development, attitude and achievement

Is aspirational for all children (and adults)

Will help children to develop a lifelong love of learning and especially reading

Is receptive to new ideas and approaches

Is astute, forward-thinking and willing to think creatively
